Marcus turned 9 months old this week. Sometimes, when the weeks are a little tougher than usual, I pray for encouragement from the Lord. He answered so graciously by allowing Marcus to show us how he's indeed getting stronger, by God's grace.
This passage has helped to anchor my heart this week: Psalm 46: 1, 10
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea...Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"
