Marcus' newest game of choice is called "How many peanut butter crackers can I put in my mouth?" It's a versatile game he also plays with cheerios, fruit, fries, and chicken nuggets.
To play: Put crackers in your mouth
Make sure they're way in your mouth to make room for others
Chew
Keep adding
Show Mommy and impress her with your ability to chew a huge amount at one time
Giggle a little bit, because you sure are having fun!
Wave hands in excitement
Flush it down with some well-deserved juice
Whew! That was fun! Wanna play again?

It's all fun and games...but in all seriousness, this is SUCH an answer to prayer! I remember months ago, praying that God would allow for Marcus to learn to feed himself. After MUCH prayer and practice, Marcus learned to pick up food that he can bite off. Then, he learned to pick up smaller pieces of food to put fully into his mouth. Lots of fine-motor and sensory processing skills involved here! Especially because he is particular about what he likes to touch. Now, at 21 months, he is a self-feeding machine. Praise the Lord! Another example of God's goodness and grace in our lives through our little Champ.
